NON-READY-MADE

Declaring the unfinished as finished

For a fashion shoot, stunning pieces of clothing made of various materials were draped over a model, held with safety pins – without designing or sewing them beforehand. Created in the moment for the moment, something unfinished is declared to be finished. In the process, the materials used are normally not visible: lining, padding, non-wovens… Inlays, feather pillows, rubber bands, shoe bags, curtain weights became visible only for the moment. Unfinished pieces were offered for sale in a concept store.
